As a professional cyclist, you have probably had to use physical therapy at some point in your career. Can you tell us about your experience with physical therapy and how it has helped you?

I found a good treatment 7 years ago. My physiotherapist uses “dry needling” it help me to recover faster on muscle issues. The dry needling consist to take out the tension of the muscles deeply than with the hands. It helps me to recover much faster.

You've been through a lot in your career, both physically and mentally. What are some of the mistakes that you see professional athletes make that can lead to injuries?

I saw a lot of athletes (me as well) who come back way to fast after an injury. We always want to be faster in business but this is not the good idea. It’s better to think and take the time.

What is your personal recovery routine?

For sure, the best recovery for an athlete is sleep. Taking a nap every day is crucial for me.
